St Peter's Church, Manchester
Compassion — Acceptance — Welcome
St Peter's Church is supported by the Church of England, the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union.
A Christian community based in the middle of the Manchester universities. Our congregation is a diverse mix of people from many different cultures. We have a special welcome for international students, particularly with families. One Sunday per month we work with the minister to develop and lead worship ourselves.
We are an open, friendly and inclusive church which cares about global issues. We aim to provide a worship space which supports all who wish to explore the Christian faith and life.
In the light of the situation with COVID-19, and in line with Government guidance we have suspended worship services at St Peter’ House for the time being. We will be joining together for worship online and by telephone. Please get in touch if you would like to join us.
We frequently have Bible Studies after the Sunday service, and are doing so every Sunday until Easter Day. Again, for the moment we will meet online.
An important part of our life together — hikes, reading group, and a shared meal after the service on the first Sunday of most months. For the moment these have been suspended.
We have a list of events. There are updates about one-off events in our Facebook group.
