St Peter's Church, Manchester
Compassion — Acceptance — Welcome
St Peter's Church is supported by the Church of England, the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union.
A Christian community based in the middle of the Manchester universities. Our congregation is a diverse mix of people from many different cultures. We have a special welcome for international students, particularly with families. One Sunday per month we work with the minister to develop and lead worship ourselves.
We are an open, friendly and inclusive church which cares about global issues. We aim to provide a worship space which supports all who wish to explore the Christian faith and life.
Our weekly service is at 11:00 on every Sunday throughout the year, with refreshments afterwards. A children's group meets during the service.
Additional services for festivals appear in the diary.
We frequently have Bible Studies after the Sunday service. The current programmes are for 14, 21, 28 October and an Advent series: 25th Nov, 9th Dec. and 16th Dec.
An important part of our life together — hikes, reading group, and a shared meal after the service on the first Sunday of most months.
We have a list of events. There are updates about one-off events in our Facebook group.
